1955 356 PreA Continental in original condition, in 1956 the USA Porsche dealership and Max Hoffman suggested to Porsche Germany that the USA market expected model makes rather than numbers and as such asked Porsche to badge the 1955 356 with the name Continental. Around 400 Continental’s were delivered to the USA market before Ford made Porsche remove the name.
