I agree should have been nominated for F&J. Anyway I hadn’t seen any of this movie in years and I forgot Stockard Channing was in it — but wtf was she doing playing second fiddle to Kate Nelligan? My parents took me to see this movie when I had just turned 5, are they nuts? She won the BAFTA for this performance, and rightly so.

How do rich celebrities end up with such awful plastic surgery?

  • The cast is very effective, even Georgia Engel from the MTM show.
  • Some people never really individuate and accept that a care-giver (lover, partner, child, etc.) deserves to have their own needs that might conflict with the disordered one.
  • R148, it’s called “Giants in the Sky” and is hosted by Ben Rimalower.
  • And except for Bolero (which I usually love), I love the score as well.
  • quoteWe’ve heard a terrible caterwauling number from Limpdicka called “Woman is.” It’s godawful.
  • In between he found the wild and destructive love of his life, the one who made him the greatest singer of heartbreak ever.

Not that Frank could by the time he inherited what I left behind. A beautiful, interveaving Western, with a story about tensions and secrets in a border town. Another 30s film that turns the world upside down.

The sitting monarch has full authority to strip anyone of their HRH or princely title/rank, at anytime for any reason as the Fount of Honor. quoteHe’ll remain a Prince because he was born one. He interjects his commentary when reading from the book. The narcissist guy over on Youtube is doing readings of the book. But it is also true that attempts to undermine the Sovereign or direct heirs to the throne are still on the books as High Treason. The author himself is the source of the quote.

That being said Barbara wrote in her book that Zeppo had Bobby sent to military school and had Bobby stay in a separate part of the house. Nancy came in with Suzanne too from time to time but I never saw the 3 of them together. The queens love Nancy Jr for the camp factor alone. To be honest , sometimes i am in one posting and i post and then turn back and it goes to the wrong post.

TV characters that ruined shows

R274 Gosh, Eduardo Noriega was so damn hot in that film. With Steve, Carol Kane, Anthony Lapaglia, Lorraine Bracco and a whole bunch of Soprano cast members. Hard to find a movie more acclaimed than The Last Emperor. Starring Tom Hanks, Eva Marie Saint and Jackie Gleason in his final film.

Would the press Rota that follows royals in the UK have behaved this way shouting questions about a salacious book that’s about to publish? Another disastrous Sussex outing admidst the atomic bomb that is the Bower book. Or angry and stressed by reporters shouting questions about the book at him across the entry concourse? No doubt his anger stems from the 11 people in the audience.

THEATRE GOSSIP #553- “You’ve Left a Void In My Heart Bigger than Lindsay Mendez’s Absences” Edition

I might read the book, by Dunne. The only developed female character, Brenda, is played by Rose Gregorio, the director’s wife. I always like when a movie is less than 2 hours. The movie is 1 hour, 48 minutes. R582, would love if you checked out True Confessions and posted here what you thought.

REVENGE II: The Tom Bower Book Discussion.

Celebration (the 1993 Danish film). The Marathon Man (1976) was acclaimed at the time. This link is supposed to have the film, but you have to sign in to Youtube for the age restriction. It’s not a comedy (which is not to say you won’t laugh at points), and in fact some consider it a horror film. I first became acquainted with it in the middle 90’s, when TCM’s Robert Osborne was having guest celebs each pick a film, which they aired and then discussed.

Thanks R105 I remember when Nola’s son was born on the show and viewers got to call in and vote for what the characters name would be. Greg sure loved eating pussy back in the day. R89, some people have had adverse effects to the vaccine. I’d love JWS to talk about his steamy love affair with Marsha Clark.

R47 People talk about that movie and it won awards. And raise you with “Lady in White,” a marvelous film that’s scary, funny, and very sweet. Scary at times, but also moving.

  • R491 A good reminder that at one time Welles was actually hot.
  • Had a good cast, Marie-France Pisier, John Beck, Susan Sarandon and Howard Hessman was in it believe it or not.
  • For the people who love ‘Topsy Turvy’, here’s Mike Leigh’s brilliant biopic about JMW Turner.
  • R240, R243 it’s just a way for me and people to discover good movies that go under the under the radar.

Yeah, I think there has to be something wrong with BPD empathy when they flip so unreasonably on people. (the way you feel about a broken coffeemaker – if it quits providing you with that coffee, fuck it, throw it away, it’s useless – that’s how they see people). Other people aren’t really realized as equal and separate people. Well – relative to BPD, NPD and anti-social PD, many people are able to have mature relationships where the caring is mutual. But, there is considerable research suggesting lack of empathy is a characteristic of BPD.

R415, it’s in the “School” chapter. For a book with no publicity or ads, coming from a small Swedish company. So, apparently physical copies of book has sold out online already.

Thank you, R447 Terrific film, that I’d forgotten about. “Without a Trace” with Kate Nelligan, Judd Hirsch and Stockard Channing in a thankless role. Will only try something if there is someone else in the cast I must see.

Distrokid music integration

Or Jamie Lee Curtis in the Halloween movies. Look at Marilyn Burns at the end of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and tell me that’s not a great performance. True fear is one the hardest things for an actor to capture on film, because we see it so rarely and those actors are never rewarded for it. The scenes where Redgrave visits Wallace Shawn to discuss the book and treats Lindsay Duncan like shit are amazing.

I think another reason people end up looking bad is that the tweaks work until they don’t. But it’s like someone said above, it’s a game of Russian Roulette. Those plastic surgery reality shows like Dr 9021whatever…..They would film lots and lots of cases. Some of these people have Body Dysmorphic Disorder and don’t have a realistic vision of what they should look like. That’s what keeps the 40s-who-look-30s from getting cast if their career has had any length at all. Most people chicken road 2 go in at 40 and tell the doctor to give them the everything job and that’s too much.

Sometimes it takes a year for media content and entertainment to be released outside of the UK territories. It’s a book that will have a burst of initial interest, all the juicy bits will get lots of coverage, then interest will wane. I am surprised it’s not being simultaneously released worldwide on Kindle. Just flipping through some of the stuff being put in Twitter not that ebook is out in the UK and yeah….it appears Tom Bower does deliver.

quoteAt least we can all agree that Mary Martin never guest-starred on “The Sopranos.” Besides Cabaret and Sound of Music, are there other musicals that would benefit from all-Nazi casting? quoteMary Martin had some soprano range.
