There are multiple terms that have defined what many consider to be the true “ultimate” American muscle car, the 1971 Plymouth Hemi Cuda convertible.

Well-known in the Mopar hobby, this particular car is unique in so many ways that it becomes a challenge to know where to begin to describe it. Perhaps it’s best to start on the assembly line at Hamtramck, Michigan. There were only to be 12 Hemi Cuda convertibles emerging from the plant during that model year, with five of those slated for non-U.S. destinations with a current market value of $7 – $10 million Australian (each)

This 1971 Convertible Cuda started life as a factory V8 but undergone an extensive rotisserie restoration by the Welbourn Family / Museum in the US

Rebuilt to full factory Hemi specifications it’s extremely rare in the US and most likely the only 1 in Australia
