Australian assembled, RHD AMC (“Rambler” in Australia) MATADOR 4-door sedan.
Original condition except for very recent repaint. Currently has mag wheels but also have original white wall wheels with caps and a set of dog dish caps for U.S govt/U.S Police look.
Car is most recognized in American TV and movies from the 1970s as a Police car, especially shows such as Adam 12, The Dukes Of Hazzard, The Rockford Files, etc. Was the Police car you would see commonly wrecked in car chases.
In Australia these cars were GOVERNMENTAL cars, most notably VIC and NSW.
