The exterior is in very good condition as it has recently been completely restored back to original condition. It is painted in a colour called LE Red which is a dark metallic red. It is yet to get the Gold pinstripes down the sides reapplied but has the LE decals on the pillars and boot already reapplied. It has gold Honeycomb mag wheels with chrome trim rings and centre caps. (these have not yet been restored). . The interior is in good condition. however. has some rips on the drivers side seat near the door and on the top of the back seat. It is a crushed valour bucket seat with vinyl trim in a similar red to the outside of the car. It has a plad pattern through the centre of the seats. It has black pile carpets on the floors and kick pannels. The dash is a black vinyl GTS woodgrain finished dash with a GTS steering wheel. It has the original 8 track player with quadraphonic speakers. There are two courtesy lights on the pillars and a stiched vinyl roof.. This car is a genuine original LE Monaro. it is currently undergoing a restoration. It is a very rare car as only 580 were ever built. LE means Limited Edition. I am the third owner of the car inherriting it from my father. This car has been back to bare metal resprayed and restored back to 100% original. The engine is a red block 308ci V8 and has been reconditioned back to original condition. Unfortunately when it was reconditioned it was painted the wrong colour (a green. the colour of blue blocks). It is connected to a turbo 400 T Bar three speed automatic transmission. it has disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. It is a classic Australian luxury muscle car.
