Only about 300 were sold in Australia so while most Subaru people have heard of them, few have actually seen one.
Styled by Italian Giorgetto Giugiaro who also styled the DeLorean DMC12 (Back to the Future), the SVX was a 1989 Tokyo Motor show concept car that Subaru decided to put into production much the same as the concept.
Fast becoming recognised as a cool car from that period of the 1990’s.
This car photographs well from a distance but up close is showing its 28yrs and 263,000kms.
There are scratches, minor hail damage on the roof and paint fade especially the mirrors.
The leather interior is original and in good condition.
Like all cars for the 90s, the back seats are only good for golf clubs.
