The vehicle is an ex military Ambulance. It has been restored to original condition. and retains the minor dings and scratches it picked up in 27 years of military service. The vehicle is not a representation of a showroom model. but an unpretentious example of how these vehicles looked in service. It is complete with all military fittings and is correctly marked for the earlier period of its service (pre/early Vietnam war). Interior is also original. and has all major equipment as issued. Rear of vehicle can be configured to either carry up to six people seated or four canvas stretchers or a combination of both.. The vehicle is very top heavy and has no synchromesh on either first or second gear. The standard 2.25L Petrol engine is also relatively underpowered and the vehicle will not exceed 55mp/h.

Original siren and red beacon are fitted but at this stage are not operable.

Can be supplied with correct unit markings for 8th Field Ambulance. First Australian Task Force (Vietnam). Replica Army Registration Plate also available to make vehicle appear exactly as in-service during Vietnam War.
